[31 October 2005, age ] Kate and I have had lollipops (I had five on the go at one time!). So we're now in the bathroom comparing tongues. You want to see my blue tongue?

[31 October 2005, age ] We're over at Mark and Brooklyn's house for "trickle-tree", but who's this scary person?!

Click the image for a larger version
[31 October 2005, age ] That's Mummy and Kate Felix in the background. Kate has my hat on because I wasn't too keen on having it on myself (I'm not really much of a hat person). You can see the scary luminaries on the driveway too. Do you like my cute outfit?

[31 October 2005, age ] "Trickle tree!". That's my version of trick-or-treat. At first I didn't want to get into my outfit, but after much convincing my Mummy, Daddy, and Kate Felix, I finally got in it. And now I like it, especially now that I know that you can go up to people, say "trickle tree", and they give you lollipops and things. Do you like my outfit?

[31 October 2005, age ] Do you see what my class made in celebration of my birthday? We put up this very nice collage on the door to our school room. At the bottom, it says "Happy Birthday Zoe! Love, Two's 2". Nice huh!

[31 October 2005, age ] Sand is good.

Click the image for a larger version
[31 October 2005, age ] Olivia and I like playing in the sandpit.

Click the image for a larger version

Click the image for a larger version
[31 October 2005, age ] OK I've got my bucket to play in the sandpit, now all I need is a shovel.

Click the image for a larger version
[31 October 2005, age ] I'm outside in the playground and at the top of the slide. I like to hang from the blue bar and swing a few times before sliding down. It's a lot of fun!

Click the image for a larger version
[31 October 2005, age ] Now that we've finished our snack, it's time to go outside and run around the playground. Yay!

Click the image for a larger version
[31 October 2005, age ] We've got out popsicles and our juice and it's all good. Looks like Miss Helena has finished hers already.

Click the image for a larger version
[31 October 2005, age ] We're all sitting at the table now, except for Manuv who's putting his shoes back on in the background. I've already started on my popsicle and others just have their juice so far. Mummy's handing out all the popsicles. That's Miss Helena in the orange - I like her a lot. And do you see the very cool Elmo balloons? Wow!

Click the image for a larger version
[31 October 2005, age ] We've just set up the tables for my birthday party at my school. I'm sitting in the middle and I've just got a glass of juice. Do you notice that it's a Wiggles cup? Mummy thinks of everything!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Yummy! I've got a piece of my birthday cake and I've also got one of the little flowers from on the top. Heather's cutting more cake for everyone else.

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Mark's putting together my new tricycle - it looks complicated. I think he needs tools. What's that? He's reading the instructions?

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] It's time to blow out the candles on my birthday cake. There are two candles because I'm two! I'm receiving last minute instructions on how to do it. Cate and Rachel are there to to help me do the blowing.

[30 October 2005, age ] Ahhh! So that's how Mrs Potato Head is supposed to work. Nice one Kate!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Katie and Amanda are showing me how Mr Potato Head works. They're very clever like that. And that's Kate in the background sitting on the sofa figuring out how Mrs Potato Head works too. I'm glad I have them as friends to help me out.

[30 October 2005, age ] I'm having a break from opening my presents to play with my new Duplo blocks that Bob & Charlene got me.  I've been given such fabulous presents!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Kate made this card for me. It's a great card, don't you think?

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] As you can see, I have lots of friends looking on. Opening presents is fun to watch!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] I'm having lots of fun opening all my birthday presents. This is one of Bob & Charlene's presents - its a Mr Potato Head. Kate's telling me all about it and Katie's looking on.

[30 October 2005, age ] It is such a lovely day today (of course - it's my birthday), so everyone's outside with their champagnes and Mimosas. Clockwise, from the left is Brooklyn, Jenny (Brook's Mummy), Mark, Sloan, and Heather. Very nice.

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Here's Kate helping me unwrap my wonderful new doll house from the Kouris. It's really exciting!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Me and my Daddy! Nice.

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] I'll really be able to go places on my new pony! He's fabulous!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Wow! Check this out! I've never seen a toy pony this big! Thanks very much Katie and Kate! At first I was a little bit scared of it and I ran away, but I soon came back to jump on for a ride. I love it!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] OK, I've waited enough now. It's time to get into some serious present opening. Here's a great DVD from Dick and Gerrie!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Amanda! She's just taken me upstairs and helped me get changed into one of my Halloween outfits (it's a witch although you can't really tell that from this photo). Unfotunately, it's a bit hot and the back is scratchy.

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] This is Rachel and Kate. Their Mummy is Heather. Paul, there Daddy, is in England to visit his family so he couldn't make it today. It was lots of fun playing with Kate and Rachel - we played with my new toys and watched my new Dora the Explorer DVD together.

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] That's Kate, Katie, Gerrie, and Heather. Lovely!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] My pals Katie Bowra and Kate Felix. It's great to see them (and that they got me such a huge present!).

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] This is Gail, my substitute grandmother in America. Gail and Alfred came to my brunch even though Alfred is flying out this afternoon on a business trip. And they skipped church too! Thanks!

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Daddy's busy making pancakes on the stove. Kind of ironic really - an Aussie in America making American pancakes from an Australian receipe. The pancakes were yummy but some were a bit burnt because he had the heat up too high (but don't tell him I said that).

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] We're playing "Rock-a-bye a bear" by The Wiggles. I really like this song and I know that dance too. Once the bear goes to sleep, you say "bear's now asleep, shh shh shh".

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] Feet.

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] This birthday balloon is lots of fun. I'm running around the house with it.

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] My birthday cake! It looks really good, don't you think? I had a similar cake from Edible Arts a year ago on my first birthday.

Click the image for a larger version
[30 October 2005, age ] My birthday party is this morning - it is very exciting. To get the ball rolling, I'm opening the present I got from my Grandma Gabriele. It's a pair of Spot books with little flaps on each page. I love the one I've had since I was a baby, so I know these are going to be fabulous!

Click the image for a larger version
[29 October 2005, age ] It's my birthday tomorrow and I'm getting very excited. And it's a bit cold this morning so I'm wearing my ski jacket - no snow however!

Click the image for a larger version
[26 October 2005, age ] My pretty outfit also comes with a matching draw-string bag too, but as you can see, I'm more interested in the paper that's inside the bag!

Click the image for a larger version
[26 October 2005, age ] Do you like my new outfit that Mummy bought me last weekend? She bought it from the Junior League Shopping Spree, a big shopping event that's on every year. I'm wearing it today because today is photo day at school. It's a very pretty outfit, don't you think. I especially like the little balls around the top. And the matching pants are nice too.

Click the image for a larger version
[24 October 2005, age ] Some presents arrived for me today from Grandma Gabriele. I got to open the card but since it's not my birthday yet, I can't open the presents.  The wrapping looks very nice though!

Click the image for a larger version
[16 October 2005, age ] I loved the carousel so much that I went on it four times, twice with Mummy and twice with Daddy. There were sleighs to ride on too, but I prefer to ride on the big white horses. And every time you go round you get to wave to everyone watching! You can also see a movie of one of my rides (9 MB AVI file).

Click the image for a larger version
[16 October 2005, age ] This is the bumble bee ride. It goes round and round and the individual bees go up and down too. So it's a little bit scary, but Daddy's holding on tight so it's OK.

Click the image for a larger version
[16 October 2005, age ] We've just arrived at the NC State Fair and the first thing I got to see was the Barnyard Animals display. There were cows and pigs and goats and roosters. I especially liked the rabbits.

Click the image for a larger version
[16 October 2005, age ] Sticking my head through the railing to get a better look at the cows and everything.

Click the image for a larger version
[15 October 2005, age ] I got some nice flowers to give to Amanda after the show. Do you like my pretty new top? Thank you Uncle Paul!

Click the image for a larger version
[15 October 2005, age ] I'm all dressed up to go and see Amanda in Alice in Wonderland. I like getting all dressed up to go see plays. This outfit is another one from Uncle Paul (he bought it for me last Christmas but I was too little for it then). It's a really cool outfit.

Click the image for a larger version
[14 October 2005, age ] This is going to be fun! I'm in my car seat all ready, I have my sunglasses on, and Mummy has put the top down on the car! What a way to go to school!

Click the image for a larger version
[14 October 2005, age ] Until today while I've been in Mummy's red car (an Audi TT) just sitting in the seat and playing with the buttons, and sitting in the driver's seat and pretending to drive. But now, I'm going out in the red car for real! This is really exciting! Daddy moved my car seat over and installed it securely, and Mummy disabled the airbag (that's the legal requirement). All I need now is my sunglasses and I'll be totally cool!

Click the image for a larger version
[10 October 2005, age ] I like reading books and I love The Wiggles, so I especially love the new books Mummy bought me: "Wiggle books"!

Click the image for a larger version
[08 October 2005, age ] I'm at Raleigh Little Theatre today helping out on the "all-call" to get the stage ready for Miss Nelson is Missing. Daddy's the stage manager for it. We're pretty much finished now so Linda and I are drawing with some markers I found.

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] There were all sorts of things to play on at Gymboree. We had lots of fun climbing up these very cool bridges and sliding down either end. Lots of people comments on how pretty my dress was too. They were sad to know that it came from Australia, but to me, that makes it even more special!

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] Me and Olivia playing together

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] You can see that Olivia had quite a few people over for her party. We're playing on top of the big parachute in this picture, but we also had lots and lots of fun playing under it too!

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] Us kids and our Daddies! That's me, Olivia and Manuv.

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] That's Miss Stephanie - she's the one that sang all the songs and made all the games for us. I like these hoops - I'm good and making them role - but I like the purple ones the best. One of the other Daddies had another purple one and I went over and asked him for it.

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] These marachas are really fun!

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] This is my friend Olivia and it's her birthday we're celebrating. We're in the same toddler class and we have lots of fun together. And the really good news is that we're also going up to "twos" together and we'll be in the same class too - excellent. Manuv, Rae and Andrew are also joining us in the same class and my pals Zach and Ethan are already there. So the gang's still together. There'll be 10 total in our new class...

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] They have this very cool inflated tube at Gymboree and it's really fun to get pulled over it. At first I didn't want to try it but after I saw everyone else playing, I asked Mummy if I could have a go too.

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] I'm at my school pal Olivia Saxman's birthday party at Gymboree today and there's many fun things to play with. I have one of these balls at home but here, there are lots of them.

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] Daddy asked me to sit here to have my photo taken, so who am I to argue? Not only is my pretty dress from Aunty Jen all new but so are my very cool black shoes. You can't see them in this photo but they have a purple heart on the top of each one. They're very pretty too.

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] Do you like my pretty dress? It was a present from Aunty Jen and Uncle Nick a while ago but I wasn't big enough to wear it then. I'm all dressed up this morning becuase I'm going to my friend Olivia's birthday party. She just turned two and we're going to Gymboree for her party. It should be lots of fun - I'm really looking forward to it. I'll also be two in just under a month!

Click the image for a larger version
[01 October 2005, age ] I love my new dress. It's very pretty. Thanks Aunty Jen.
