[30 December 2004, age ] This outfit was a present from the Powells. The little flowers on the purple top match the flowers on the overalls - very cute. It's a little bit big for me, but I rolled up the trousers and everything was just lovely.

[30 December 2004, age ] Here's me in my blow-up house. At first, I wasn't too sure about it, but now I love it! I can climb in and out, and I have all these balls to play with. And there's these skittles (pins) that I can stick in the holes in the back, and I can put the rings on them too. So much fun!

[30 December 2004, age ] Crayons are fun, but Mummy's not too keen on my using them while on the carpet. Even though they are washable, I'm not supposed to write on the carpet. Hmmm.

[29 December 2004, age ] Here I am on the landing just outside my bedroom. Aren't I clever: I can stand on one leg and stick my other leg out through the railing.

[29 December 2004, age ] Uncle Paul is leaving tomorrow to go to Los Angeles to spend New Year's Eve with Karin and some of her family who live there. So I'm spending quality time with him today. He's lots of fun and I've really enjoyed having him here. I hope to see them again soon!

[28 December 2004, age ] Jean has a great pantry and Ellie and I are playing in there.

[27 December 2004, age ] We're over at Ken & Jean's next door for dinner. Ellie and her staff David & Sally are also there too. We're watching Tellytubbies on TV and I'm dancing along. Such fun!

[27 December 2004, age ] Ellie and I are watching the TV. It's quite late but I'm having so much fun!

[27 December 2004, age ] Nice! Ellie's a big girl - she's looking after me, sharing her toys with me, and telling me all the stuff I need to know.

[27 December 2004, age ] This is Ellie and her new shopping cart that she got for Christmas. It's very cool and she even let me have a go too.

[26 December 2004, age ] Uncle Paul's a messy eater, so I've lent him a bib to wear. I went to bed early tonight and the others had home-made curry for dinner - lamb, chicken, and cauliflower & potato. All yum!

[26 December 2004, age ] Check out (a) my lovely new knitted top I got from Marlene Fricano (works with Mummy) for my birthday and (b) I'm walking!

[26 December 2004, age ] It's almost noon and I'm still in my jammies! Grandma, Uncle Paul and I are doing some drawing. I'm offering Uncle Paul some of my crayons so he can draw too.

[25 December 2004, age ] It's Christmas night and I'm having my friend Carmen over for dinner. We're having Viener Schnitzel for dinner, made by Uncle Paul - yum! Note my new dog, "Spot". Aunty Jude in Australia gave him to me for Christmas.

[25 December 2004, age ] Our good friend Carmen Mandley, over for dinner.

[25 December 2004, age ] I got this blowup house/fortress/thingy for Christmas from Mummy & Daddy. He and Uncle Paul blew it up (they had a pump fortunately) and Grandad is road-testing it for me. It has lots and lots of balls with it too, which I just love! I'm a little bit unsure about it and haven't been in it yet, but I'm sure it'll be OK in the end.

[25 December 2004, age ] These red slippers were a present from Mummy's boss Betsy. They're very cosy, thanks.

[25 December 2004, age ] Charlene and Bob came over for dinner last night. Charlene made her yummy biscotti. A lot of it was eaten last night but there are a few pieces left. I think I'll have a piece or two.

[25 December 2004, age ] I got this very excellent train set from Mummy & Daddy for Christmas. It's lots of fun.

Click the image for a larger version
[24 December 2004, age ] I got lots of books for Christmas, but this one I got before hand, and I love it! It has little flaps just like my other Spot book.

Click the image for a larger version
[24 December 2004, age ] Mummy gave me a Haselnuss-Mignon chocolate-covered hazelnut wafer. I fed it myself. Very yummy, but o-so-messy! Note the presence of two (count 'em) front teeth - Chrismas arrived early for me!

Click the image for a larger version
[22 December 2004, age ] Do you like my very pretty dress? It's my lovely Christmas outfit that Grandma bought me. I'll also be wearing it for Christmas too (after it gets a wash - oops).

[22 December 2004, age ] Guess who arrived this afternoon? It's Uncle Paul!

Click the image for a larger version
[22 December 2004, age ] The Kouris gave me this cool and noisy Wiggly Guitar. Amanda's showing me all the buttons and how to make the guitar neck wobble - lots of fun!

[22 December 2004, age ] This is my Christmas book from Gerrie. Last year's was Polar Express. It's become quite a tradition - I like it!

[22 December 2004, age ] Me and my new haircut. I think this is my third or fourth cut - Lewie says my hair has really thickened out now.

Click the image for a larger version
[22 December 2004, age ] I've just come home from my haircut. If you look at earlier photos you'll see that I needed it - my hair was getting in my eyes. This is much better. Oh and compare this photo with an October photo.

[20 December 2004, age ]

The tree is finished. Aren't these balls fascinating?

I need a haircut!

[18 December 2004, age ] I walked all the way back to the car from the BTI Center where we saw Cinderella. How about that?! Dad carried me across the street, but other than that, it was all me. I held onto Daddy and Grandad so they wouldn't get lost.

Click the image for a larger version
[18 December 2004, age ] We've just seen Cinderella and it was lots of fun. I was quite attentive throughout the show (got a bit ratty towards the end, but that's all). Left to right are: Dick Kouri, Amanda Kouri (my Godmother), Grandad Shiv, me, Mummy, Grandma Gabriele, and Gerrie Kouri. Dad's taking the photo. We're off home for drinks and chit-chat, then we're going out to Winston's Grille for dinner.

[18 December 2004, age ] Me with Amanda and Grandad - lovely!

Click the image for a larger version
[18 December 2004, age ] We've just got our tickets and Mummy also bought me a very pretty tiara and magic wand. Just what a girl needs! Here's me with Grandad - aren't we all dressed up!

Click the image for a larger version
[18 December 2004, age ] We're on our way to go see Cinderella at the BTI Center in downtown Raleigh. Cinderella is Raleigh Little Theatre's annual Christmas production and has been running for 21 years ("finally, she's legal"). I'm wrapped in my blankie in the car to keep warm.

Click the image for a larger version
[18 December 2004, age ] Our Christmas tree. It isn't quite finished and I'm giving Grandma instructions on where to put things - "there's a gap over there...". She's done a great job at making it look pretty.

Click the image for a larger version
[18 December 2004, age ] It's Saturday morning and Grandad and I have a job to do - sort out these Christmas decorations and help Mummy and Grandma put them on the tree. It's a difficult job, but I think I've figured it out.

Click the image for a larger version
[17 December 2004, age ] We're now at Caribou Coffee so the grownups can have some coffees. I'm here with Mummy, Daddy, as well as Grandma and Grandad. Today was "wear your pyjamas to school" day, so that's why I'm wearing them.

Click the image for a larger version
[17 December 2004, age ] The cupcakes are quite yummy, but now I'm going to get up and walk around. I can now walk all by myself (not very quickly, but still, I'm mobile!). Yes, I'm saving that bit of icing for later.

Click the image for a larger version
[17 December 2004, age ] Today is a special day at daycare. Everyone's staff have been invited to join us at our snack time. Sort of like "Upstairs Downstars" but different. Here's me with some of my friends. That's Rachel to my right. We're having cupcakes and some juice.

[16 December 2004, age ] Playing in the laundry room is lots of fun. There is so much to play with that's within easy reach. These cans are lots of fun. I can pull them out of the box and then push them around (1.6 MB movie)

[15 December 2004, age ] Today was "red, white, and blue day", so naturally I dressed appropriately. It was also quite cold yesterday in the morning, so I wore a cute pink beanie and matching mittens (from Amanda). I also wore a nice coat that Heather loaned me. I'm back home now, dancing next to my music box.

[14 December 2004, age ]

Today was crazy hair day at my school, so Mummy helped me get ready this morning. I call it my "punk rocker" look.

"Never mind the bollocks, here's Zoe" (see my December photo)

[12 December 2004, age ] I'm not supposed to play with the Hi-Fi, but it has this great knob that I just love twiddling. Daddy lets me play with every so often. It makes a great clicking sound when you turn it.

Click the image for a larger version
[12 December 2004, age ] This chair (and matching table and other chair) are the perfect size for me. They are a present from Amanda and are just lovely. I like to sit in it while I'm having a sippy cup with milk in it or if I'm watching Teletubbies, Seasame Street, or one of my other favourite programs. Some might say I'm a "box watcher" - not me!

Click the image for a larger version
[11 December 2004, age ] It's quite cold outside today so I've got a top on with a hood. I'll also be wearing my big coat too. Don't want to catch a chill!

Click the image for a larger version
[11 December 2004, age ] My medicine is starting to work and I'm feeling better today. I found Dad's soccer ball in the cupboard. Did I tell you I love balls?

Click the image for a larger version
[10 December 2004, age ] What was it Dad said about not sticking my fingers in here?

Click the image for a larger version
[10 December 2004, age ] I'm off sick today as I have an ear infection. The drugs that the doctor gave me are making me feel better, but I'm a bit tired too. I think I'll have a lie down on this comfy pillow.

Click the image for a larger version
[04 December 2004, age ] We went out for a walk this afternoon since it was a clear and sunny day. It was a bit chilly though, so I go nice and rugged up. I have my warm hat on (for now, at least), plus I have some gloves on and my lovely Ralph Lauren jacket on too (thanks Gerrie and Amanda!). Nice and cozy. Alas, after about 3/4 the way through our walk, this happened. The blankie was a nice touch don't you think? Matching of course.

Click the image for a larger version
[04 December 2004, age ] Mummy bought me an Advent Calendar so I can have a little chocolate every day up to Christmas. I do like opening little doors like these ones. I have a Spot book with little pop-out doors in it too (and I'm quite good at opening them too!).

Click the image for a larger version
[04 December 2004, age ] I'm playing peek-a-boo with Mummy on the stairs. So much fun! You can also see an animation of our game.
