[28 November 2004, age ] We're going out today to the shops. It's quite cool and windy outside so I'm all rugged up. The scarf is hand-made by Charlene and the hat is from Gerrie. And guess what? They both stayed on my head!

[28 November 2004, age ] I'm getting really good that this walking business! I can now walk with only someone on one hand. Won't be long until I'm free of all contraints!

[27 November 2004, age ] It's late in the evening an I've had my bath and am just finishing up my bottle. My new thing is to sit in my little chair. I can sit in it and drink from my own sippy cup. Amanda gave the set of two little chairs and a table -- she played with them when she was little too. I just know I'm going to have lots of fun with them!

[25 November 2004, age ] It's Thankgiving Day and we're all sitting down to lunch. This mashed potato that Gerrie made is delicious. It's a bit messy though...

[25 November 2004, age ] Cheers! Prost! Around the Thanksgiving table are: me, Amanda, Gerrie, Mummy, Dick, Charlene, and Bob. We have lots of food to eat and it is good to share it with such great friends.

[25 November 2004, age ] This veggie tray is very tasty. I especially like the the black olives. Gerrie sticks them on my fingers and I eat them from there - fun!

[25 November 2004, age ] Me with Mummy and Amanda - lovely! Amanda is my Godmother, you know. I'm trying to get some champagne out of Mummy's glass without much luck.

[25 November 2004, age ] Bob is the cooking the turkey today for Thanksgiving Day. He's making a deep fried turkey. It doesn't sound healthy but for some reason the peanut oil doesn't get absorbed by the turkey - it is quick to cook (45 minutes for this turkey) and is very moist. You can also see a movie of Bob putting the turkey into the oil (5.8 MB AVI).

[25 November 2004, age ] I'm all dressed for our big Thankgiving Day lunch and just playing about the floor with my toy Pony. Do you like my tights and cool black shoes?

[25 November 2004, age ] Do you like my pretty new outfit? Mummy & Daddy bought it for me from Marshall Fields in Chicago when they were there in September (for their wedding anniversary).

[25 November 2004, age ] This is a great outfit that Mummy bought me in Chicago. I'm going to look good for our Thanksgiving Day lunch today with Bob & Charlene and the Kouri family.

[25 November 2004, age ] Like my tooth? No more have popped out however. It's my morning snack and I just had some diced peaches - yum! My hair is slicked back because I managed to get peach juice through it - makes a good hair gel.

[25 November 2004, age ] We're preparing for our Thanksgiving lunch today so everyone's busy. I believe there is champagne in here - do you think I could have some now?

[21 November 2004, age ] It's Sunday afternoon, and we've come home from brunch and from shopping at A Southern Season. I was playing in my crib with my toys and my blankie (as I do), then suddenly, I fell asleep. At least it is nice and dark.

[21 November 2004, age ] Just playing with the chair... It's fun to walk around places. I'm really looking forward to being able to walk by myself!

[21 November 2004, age ] We met David & Angie Boone at Guglhupf Bakery in Durham. It is a German bakery with a cafe at the back that serves food. We were there for brunch. I ate lots while I was there - some of everyone's food! And of course I did some walking around (with Dad's help), even in my bare feet since it was such a nice day!

[20 November 2004, age ] We met Katie for coffee at Starbucks this afternoon. I got to have some cake with everyone else (plus some water in my sippy cup - I'm not a great coffee fan yet). There was plenty of space to show Katie how good I am at walking and stuff. She was quite impressed. Katie's still a bit scared of walking by herself, so she doesn't want me to let go of her yet. You have to be brave about these things.

[20 November 2004, age ] I had lots of fun at Starbucks with Katie on Saturday afternoon. One activity in particular was pushing my chair around the cafe, complete with smiles from onlookers. You can also see footage of me pushing the chair.

[20 November 2004, age ] I opened my birthday present from Trudy today. Trudy works with Mummy and unfortunately she couldn't make it to my party because she had too much school work to do. I had fun opening it (and playing with the wrapping too!). It's a very soft toy pony - my first pony! Thanks Trudy!

[18 November 2004, age ] We're having dinner with Amanda and Gerrie tonight, at our usual haunt - the Sawmill Taproom. I'm playing with Amanda before my food arrives.

[18 November 2004, age ] Do you like my groovy sweatshirt? It has a plaid inside and a cool zipper on the front. I borrowed this from Kate and Rachel Fearn. They've lent me lots of their clothes.

[18 November 2004, age ] We're on the way home from school. I had a very big day today (Miss Eileen reported that I took 4 steps today!) -- so much so that I've fallen asleep in the car. At least I still have my wormy to hold on to.

[14 November 2004, age ] Do you like my new mobile? It was a birthday present from Aunty Monika and Uncle Winfred in Germany. It is totally cool: it has a lion, an elephant, a zebra, a giraffe, and a monkey. And it is just at the right height so I can stand in my bed and play with it.

[14 November 2004, age ] I've just woken up from my morning nap, and I'm telling Daddy all about my day so far and what I'd like to do this afternoon. So many things, so little time.

[13 November 2004, age ] Hanging out with Amanda (on the left) and Abby (on the right) at their school's craft market. What a cool gang!

[13 November 2004, age ] Having a break with Amanda at the craft fair. We're checking out the silent auctions they had going on. I wonder if Gerrie won the ones she was bidding on?

[13 November 2004, age ] We had a fun afternoon today. We went to Wakefield High School's arts and craft fair. We saw Amanda, Gerrie and Dick there. Here's me with Gerrie in the new hat Gerrie bought me. It's a really nice purple colour - Mummy likes to too!

[11 November 2004, age ] "All I want for Christmas is my other front tooth!". You like my toothy grin?

[09 November 2004, age ] Do you like my cool Pumpkin Patch Kids outfit? Mummy & Aunty Jen bought it in Australia when we were there for my Baptism in April. The pants have flared legs to be even more trendy.

[09 November 2004, age ]

Here's another picture of me in my cute purple outfit. There's a story about the shoes too. Mummy & Daddy bought them for me before I was born. In fact, they bought them the first time they bravely ventured into Babies R Us. They are white shoes with purple trim (which matches my outfit of course).

Mummy & I were not sure it was the done thing to wear white shoes after labor day, but Daddy said it would be OK.

[06 November 2004, age ] I'm a big girl now, and big girls face the front in their car seats. This is very cool - I can see out much better now and I can see where we're going too. Plus the sun isn't in my eyes as much as it was when I faced the back. And check out my cute outfit too - black shoes and all!

[03 November 2004, age ] Check out this groovy outfit. Mummy bought it in Target a while ago, but it now fits me. It's quite pleasant this morning, but forecast to get cooler tonight. So I'm wearing longs (plus some shoes, but I'll put those on in a moment).
