[29 October 2004, age ] This terrific jacket came from Aunty Dagmar all the way from Germany. As you can see it is currently too long in the arms (just a little bit!), but not for long because I'm growing fast! This will keep me lovely and warm over the winter, while looking very trendy at the same time!

[29 October 2004, age ] We're finishing up at daycare after my birthday party. I had lots of fun, but I'm a little tired now. I'm going to take my birthday balloons home with me too.

[29 October 2004, age ] I like to stand here by the window and look out at the preschoolers playing outside. Here I am showing Mummy what's out there.

[29 October 2004, age ] My birthday cupcakes are yummy but they sure are messy! Now, are there any more? Check out the video of the event (5 MB AVI file). The teachers in the movie are Beth on the right, and Eileen on the left.

[29 October 2004, age ] This is my friend Sophie. She's not as messy as me. Sophie and I were the only ones of the kids that had cake -  all the rest are too little to have any.

[29 October 2004, age ] This was my first cupcake. They're quite small so I'm allowed to have more than one. Good thing too - they're yummy. This is where I normally sit when I have my food. Miss Eileen puts me here so I can see what's going on in the room. If she didn't, I'm so curious that I'd be continually be turning around!

[29 October 2004, age ] Check out my very cool birthday balloons. This is my room at daycare - you can see many of my toys and stuff, and in the background are our cribs where we sleep. I'm standing on the stair climber where we practice climbing up and down the stairs. I'm pretty good at it. That's my friend Sophie behind me, admiring my birthday balloons, and two of the babies asleep (one on the floor and one in his crib).

[29 October 2004, age ] Today is the Friday before Halloween (and my birthday), so I'm wearing my Halloween outfit - a cool short that Gerrie bought me, plus my Halloween jamies bottoms (also Gerrie but separately!). Pretty cool huh? I'm all ready to go to school - Mummy has arranged a birthday party for me this afternoon at 3pm where I'll have cupcakes and balloons - how about that!

[29 October 2004, age ] Peek-a-boo! I'm playing in the entryway with the elephant, looking around the corner.

[29 October 2004, age ] Trick or treat! Check out my Halloween bag that Gerrie gave me (she spoils me too much!). I like to have it round my neck.

[24 October 2004, age ] We bought a gate for the top of the stairs yesterday and Dad installed it this afternoon. I was tradesman's assistant (TA) and helped him put it up. It should prevent me from accidentally falling down the stairs which is a good thing. I do like crawling up the stairs and I'm quite good at it now too. Down the stairs - not so much!

[23 October 2004, age ] As I've been sick, the doctor prescribed cold things for me to eat and drink including popsicles. I like this prescription! It's a bit messy though, and my hands get all cold. Tastes good but.

[17 October 2004, age ] I like standing up at the side table because its just my height. Also, the lovely Swiss music box that Grandma & Grandad Watts gave us (well, gave my parents before I was born) is also on the side table. I like to listen to the Mozart that it plays and even dance along! (4.2 MB AVI)

[17 October 2004, age ] I like putting cord and things around my neck. Especially power cords, and as you can see here, belts. Notice I'm wearing my Halloween jammies. Gerrie and Amanda got them for me when they minded me for a weekend a month or so ago.

[16 October 2004, age ] Look how big I am in this high chair. Check out how far I came up to the top of the high chair about 5 months ago. And check out my trendy outfit - faded bell-bottom jeans and a cool black top with frills on the sleeves.

[16 October 2004, age ] We're having fun crawling around the house. I love it when Mummy or Daddy chase me around the floor. I'm a pretty quick crawler now, so they have a hard time keeping up.

[10 October 2004, age ] What was that they say about not playing on the street? The concrete and the bitumen are quite hard on my knees and feet so I had to crawl carefully. However, now that I'm here, I can examine this small rock.

[10 October 2004, age ] If you're outside, you have to check out everything. Here I am checking out what dirt and mulch tastes like. I don't like it so much. Too gritty.

[10 October 2004, age ] It's such a nice afternoon, so we're outside playing in the grass in the front yard. I'm checking out this leaf to see how it works. And check out the flowers we planted yesterday. Nice huh?

[09 October 2004, age ] Somebody call Social Services! Didn't someone tell them that I'm underage? Note that my straw is stuck in the neck of the bottle.

[09 October 2004, age ] Here's me with Amanda (on the right) and Abby (on the left). I went to see them in their high school theatre department's production of The Jungle Book. It was lots of fun - I was very attentive and watched the whole thing.

[09 October 2004, age ] Here's me and Amanda after her show. She's still in her costume and I'm in my lovely pretty dress.

[09 October 2004, age ] Here's Amanda on stage in The Jungle Book. She was "Dari". The girl on the right is "Massua" (played by Haley Hedges), the mother of "Mowgli", the primary character of the story and the boy who was taken in by the wolf pack. Here's a cast photo from the production too. I enjoyed it!

[09 October 2004, age ] I sat on Gerrie's lap during the entire performance of The Jungle Book. I was very attentive and very quiet and I watched the entire show. Everyone said how good I was too!

[09 October 2004, age ] We're in the cafeteria of Wakefield High School just before Amanda's show is to start. I'm in my very pretty dress - it's important to dress up when going to a show. I've also got my toy doggie with me. I can play with it during the show without making a noise.

[09 October 2004, age ] While we were waiting to go in, I played on the floor a bit. I like to watch people going by and taking in all the goings on.

[07 October 2004, age ] Check this out. Gerrie and Amanda bought me these very trendy faded and flared jeans. Katie got me the trendy pink top.

[06 October 2004, age ] I'm having Rok Rebolj over for dinner. Rok is from Slovenia and he's over here working with my Dad. He came with gifts too! He gave me a lovely orange bear and brought Mummy some pretty sunflowers. Here's me with Rok eating some cheese and crackers.

[02 October 2004, age ] Here's my red truck. I can push it around the room by standing behind it, and I can just sit in it, but I haven't quite figured how to sit in it and push myself about. Mum & Dad are helping by explaining how to push (forwards and backwards), so I'll figure it out eventually.

[02 October 2004, age ] Scooting along the sofa... Notice I've also got my power cable with me - I like cables!

[01 October 2004, age ] I'm at the Wolfpack Homecoming Parade (NC State University's homecoming parade where they welcome back past students) These balloons are very cool. And these beads I have around my neck were given to me by someone in the parade (probably because I'm so cute).

[01 October 2004, age ] Me with Eman (on the left), and Jouhana (on the right). Jouhana is Katie's room mate, and Eman is Jouhana's cousin. Katie and Jouhana are seniors at NC State University (all their teams are the Wolfpacks), and Eman is a Freshman.

[01 October 2004, age ] I'm at the Wolfpack Homecoming Parade with Katie and her friends. This guy with the funny red hat offered to pose with me and show me the Wolfpack hand sign. I got these cool beads at the parade too.

[01 October 2004, age ] Katie and I are just about to go out on the town! We're going with Katie's friends to the North Carolina State University (NC State or "Wolfpack") homecoming parade. It will be lots of fun!
